Girlboss Media is a multi-platform resource for professional women. This rebrand was a personal project, as big fans of Sophia and the Girlboss team, we just wanted to try our hands at a brand touch up for a company we admire. The first step was the logo, the fat san serif font sets a strong tone so we kept it, but capitalized the G and included a lowercase b. Next was the palette, Girlboss uses a wide family of pinks, so we narrowed down the amount, added a contrasting ultramarine blue and dialed up the saturation. As a finishing touch we created a pattern/catchphrase to show off how the vibrancy of palette plays well together and reaffirm the companies mission of women uplifting other women.
